We're rated as a Great Place to Work, a Forbes Best Employer for Diversity and a Forbes World's Top Female-Friendly Company.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><strong>Role:</strong> Forward Deployed AI Engineer<br><strong>Location:</strong> Bristol HQ – Hybrid Model &amp; Travel across EMEA region<br><strong>Salary:</strong> DOE</p> <p>We are looking for an experienced AI Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the design, delivery and scaling of high-impact AI solutions for strategic customers.</p> <p>This is a senior, hands-on technical role for someone who thrives at the intersection of software engineering, applied AI and customer problem-solving. You will turn complex and often ambiguous business challenges into secure, scalable and commercially viable AI solutions, taking ownership from early discovery and rapid prototyping through to production deployment.</p> <p>You will work directly with partners and customers as a senior technical contributor, working alongside Solution Architects and multidisciplinary teams to make pragmatic technical decisions and solve difficult implementation problems. This is an individual-contributor technical leadership role, with significant influence but no formal line-management responsibility.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the technical delivery of complex AI engagements, owning implementation, deployment approach, technical risk and engineering priorities.</li> <li>Work directly with customers and senior stakeholders to translate ambiguous business challenges into practical AI solutions.</li> <li>Rapidly prototype, test and iterate AI solutions with customers to validate assumptions, feasibility and value.</li> <li>Design, build and deploy production-grade generative AI, agentic and other applied AI solutions.</li> <li>Remain hands-on throughout delivery, contributing code, integrations, evaluations and technical implementation.</li> <li>Work alongside Solution Architects to translate customer requirements and constraints into appropriate solution designs and implementation approaches.</li> <li>Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems, data, APIs, workflows and security models.</li> <li>Establish appropriate approaches for AI evaluation, observability, guardrails, human oversight and operational monitoring.</li> <li>Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems encountered when deploying AI into customer environments.</li> <li>Conduct design and code reviews while mentoring engineers and improving technical capability across the practice.</li> <li>Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Research, Architecture and Customer Success to align strategy and resolve delivery dependencies.</li> <li>Create reusable frameworks, accelerators, playbooks and solution patterns from customer delivery experience.</li> <li>Ensure solutions meet appropriate security, privacy, legal, responsible AI, governance and enterprise risk requirements.</li> <li>Explain complex AI and engineering concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.</li> <li>Contribute customer insight and implementation learning to Insight’s AI services, capabilities and go-to-market approach.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience Required:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Significant experience delivering software, AI, machine learning or applied AI
