We want you to share that same<br>ambition.<br>You will also manage a team of technical direct reports, who are themselves working on<br>client projects, for whom you will provide actionable feedback, technical guidance and<br>mentoring, fostering a continuous improvement, growth and consultancy mindset.<br>You will work with clients at every level to understand their problems, set expectations,<br>and maximise business value, representing CreateFuture as an engagement lead.<br>Role Requirements<br>● Proven, hands-on technical leader delivering complex software.<br>● Demonstrate thought-leadership; supporting our clients and colleagues to<br>understand, through modern technology and process, what is possible for their<br>business/craft.<br>● Line-manage a team of engineers while maintaining personal delivery<br>contributions.<br>● Commercial experience with .Net as well as Java<br>or frontend).</p> <p>● Commercial experience with at least one major cloud (Amazon Web Services,<br>Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and modern infrastructure practices<br>(containers, continuous integration/continuous delivery, infrastructure as code).<br>● Strong delivery fundamentals: estimation, planning, and risk/issue/dependency<br>management; escalates early with clear options and impacts.<br>● Communicate designs and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical<br>stakeholders.<br>● Skilled in difficult conversations and actionable feedback; sets clear standards and<br>holds people accountable.<br>Desirable:<br>● Tailor ways of working (Scrum or Kanban) to context and drive continuous<br>improvement.<br>● Experience in change transformation projects that involved significant Artificial<br>Intelligence adoption.<br>● Breadth across multiple languages or disciplines (e.g., Rust, test automation,<br>DevOps/platform engineering).<br>● Experience across multiple clouds and cloud-native services.<br>● Contribute to recruitment and pre-sales in a consultancy context.<br>● Represent CreateFuture in the external tech community.<br>Role Responsibilities<br>Technical leadership:<br>● Communicate designs, trade‐offs, and constraints in the context of client goals.<br>● Lead architecture, solution design, and documentation; make pragmatic<br>technology choices.<br>● Contribute code where appropriate; set engineering standards; ensure reviews,<br>testing, and maintainability.<br>● Troubleshoot complex issues; drive root‐cause fixes and follow‐up actions.<br>Delivery leadership:<br>● Own technical outcomes: scope, estimate, plan, and track to agreed goals.<br>● Highlight risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate early with clear options,<br>impacts, and recommendations.<br>● Ensure actionable backlogs and realistic plans; communicate timelines and team<br>shape needs.<br>People leadership (enable, unblock, hold to account):</p> <p
